Remember these sayings From The Caribbean And The World

Trinidad and Tobago is indeed a very unique place. After all it gave birth to the calypso, the Steelband, limbo, Angostura bitters, and a philosophy of life that spells fun and goodwill where ever it's people go.
This gem that is Trinidad and Tobago, is reflected not only in the beautiful sandy beaches, or the many races that co-exist there, but also by its language. While Brittanic in esssence, it is infused with Spanish gold, French assaults, and a history rich from the cross mingling of the sweat of slaves, with the rulers of that time, creating what is now a diverse and multi-cultural society.
Patois (broken French) is still spoken, and many Spanish speaking territories still exist, and flourish through their music and folk dances passed down from generations past. East Indian, Chinese, Arabic and other exotic tongues along with their exquisite culinary cuisine have helped to shape the culture of these beautiful islands.
I hope that these sayings conjure up memories of eating a belly full, while being asked if yuh bed eh wet, at a blocko rama..
